Fly-in, American-plan lodge located on 4.1 Acres of deeded land in a sheltered bay at the east end of Yoke Lake. Yoke Lake is 38 miles north of Fort Frances, Ontario. The lodge has been in continuous operation for over 35 years and has a good number of repeat guests. Access to the lodge is via a 20 minute float plane flight from Fort Frances or via a 3 mile boat ride from a landing accessed from a logging road - approximately a 1-1/2 hour drive from Fort Frances, Ontario. Guests have access to six separate lakes via boat or short portages and can angle for six species of sportfish - walleye, largemouth & smallmouth bass, northern pike, lake trout and muskie. The lodge has practised catch-and-release angling for the past 20 years. The facilities include the following buildings and equipment - a main lodge building with guest dining room and lounge, high speed satellite internet and satellite television; - five fully-modern guest cabins, accommodating from two up to eight guests per cabin; - a 20 x 30 steel building (new in 2009) housing the shop and diesel generators; - a laundry building - a 12 x 24 wood-framed building (new in 2008) housing the water treatment equipment, minnow tank, ice machine and storage for boat equipment; - 12', 14', and 16' aluminum fishing boats equipped with swivel seats - 8 hp, 9.9 hp, 15 hp, and 25 hp Yamaha outboards - assorted power / hand tools and equipment.
